‘Stair’ to compete at New Talent Int’l Festival

Prime The Animation! New Talent International Festival in Spain is slated to screen Iran animated piece ‘Stair’.

Directed by Siamak Vahed, ‘Stair’ will vie for top award at the 6th edition of the Spanish screening event.

Produced by Iran Documentary and Experimental Film Center, Vahed’s animated short film has been picked for competition with titles from Mexico, Germany, Chile, Estonia and India.  

‘The candle flickered. I went out and ran into the stairs,’ a short synopsis for the animation reads.

According to the official website of the festival, Prime the Animation! is a not-for-profit cultural event which presents its animation short film contest for students, recent graduates and new talent, without any distinction of country of origin.

The event will take place on October 3-5, 2019 in the city of Valencia on Spain’s southeastern coast.
